Nashi and Fig Crumble

Ingredients

Butter for greasing

3 tbsp plain flour

100g butter

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 1/4 cups your favourite muesli

2 large Nashi, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup chopped dried figs

1 tbsp orange juice

Method

Preheat oven to 190oC and brush a deep 5 – 6 cup baking dish with butter. Combine the flour, butter and brown sugar with your fingertips to form a mix resembling coarse crumbs. Fold through the muesli.

Arrange Nashi in the base of the dish, top with figs and juice. Then cover with the crumble topping, and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden and tender.
